I and my brother just came to the restaurant the first time today . Mam was so good, so did the other foods. Decoration are luvly , everything are purple. Even the business card is so cute , and th owner is so nice ! I will come back . Highly recommend .
Hahahaha, the restaurant is iconic. Purple everywhere, even in the bathroom which I enjoy a lot. Back to the food, Bun Mam here is outstanding, I like my dishes a lot. The fish is fresh, not fishy smell at all. They are also served with bitter herbs. I would want to ask for more tamarind sauce next time.

Cute little restaurant with a full purple theme. It's not easy finding a place that serves authentic Vietnamese Bun Mam. We were so excited to try Bun Mam Mien Tay for the first time! Good portion size and very delicious This is the taste and flavor of my childhood! The Bun Mam was full of seafood and we were also given a huge plate of veggies. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try this unique and authentic Vietnamese dish. We will definitely be coming back for more! Edit: Made a return visit for the Lau Mam. Highly recommended!!
I love the authentic Vietnamese atmosphere! The food tastes delicious and the portions are huge. It’s the best Bun Mam that I know and I’ve tasted a few around Houston. This place is my go to for authentic Vietnamese food!

Bun Man Mien Tay is the best Bun Mam restaurant in the Houston, TX area. This is the only place where I can enjoy eating Bun Mam. The broth is perfect and does not smell fishy. The service is always wonderful. The restaurant owner is a very nice lady, and purple is her favorite color; therefore, the entire restaurant's decoration is purple. The restaurant is super clean, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes to eat Bun Mam. They moved to a new location. Very beautiful restaurant decoration. Their bun mam is always delicious.
Bun mam is delicious rich & pungent. They do appetizers & drinking food very well like the fried calamari & wings. An underrated restaurant that specializes in fermented fish noodle soup.
